If you’re looking for an active, intelligent dog, it might be the standard poodle that you're looking for. Poodles are among the smartest and most affectionate dog breeds that make them great companions. Poodles are extremely easy to train. They are eager to please, agile, and graceful, they enjoy and excel in a variety of canine sports, including agility, obedience, retrieving and tracking. And they love to snuggle. Their hypoallergenic, non-shedding coats make them amazing companions and excellent family dogs, and or service dogs.
At Netherwood, we are dedicated to producing healthy, intelligent, and well-tempered poodles through comprehensive health testing and responsible breeding practices. Our poodles are DNA-tested by Embark and OFA/CHIC-certified. We live in the Northwest Corner of Washington State, on 3.5 acres, and are nestled between the foothills of the Cascades and the Salish Sea. We share our daily life with country air, eagles, hawks, goats, ducks, kitties, and yes, the standard poodle. Our dogs live in the house with us as our pets, and the puppies will be raised lovingly with us and desensitized to bathing and grooming, young children, cats, goats, and ducks.
